Trump to back Britain over spy poisoning if facts are straight

US President Donald Trump is demanding Russia answer questions about the poisoning of one of its former spies in the UK. Mr Trump’s demand follows British Prime Minister Theresa May's deadline for Russia to explain the nerve agent origin. Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov insists Moscow has no connection to the attack and has continued requests for access to samples of Novichok, the chemical in question.
