Kensington Palace Releases Important Information About Prince George and Princess Charlotte's Roles in the Royal Wedding

Prince George, Princess Charlotte

It's official! Prince George and Princess Charlotte are going to be in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding this Saturday, May 19. Kensington Palace shared the news on Wednesday, with a full list of the Page Boys and Bridesmaids.

The palace made the announcement via Twitter, and includes not only George and Charlotte, but many of their contemporaries.

It might sounds weird to think of 3-year-old Princess Charlotte as a bridesmaid, but in England, this role is typically filled by children, not adults. Also on the list for the girls are Harry's goddaughters, Miss Florence van Cutsem, 3, and Miss Zalie Warren, 2, Meghan's goddaughters, Miss Remi Litt, 6, Miss Rylan Litt, 7, and Meghan's best friend's daughter, Miss Ivy Mulroney, 4.

Joining Prince George for the page boys are Harry's godson, Master Jasper Dyer, 6, and Ivy Mulroney's brothers, Master Brian Mulroney, 7, and Master John Mulroney, 7.

The palace also stated, "Details about the Bridesmaids’ dresses and the Page Boys’ uniforms will be made available on the wedding day."

Prince William will be on hand as his brother's best man, and Kate will be there to help wrangle her own children, but mostly just enjoy the day, as she just gave birth to Prince Louis a few weeks ago.

Word is that little Prince Louis will not attend the wedding, and will instead stay with either Nanny Maria, or Kate's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. Considering that he's only a month old, we fully support this decision, although we'd be lying if said we weren't disappointed that we won't be seeing his sweet little face again this weekend.

The little royals already have some experience under their belts, as they participated in Aunt Pippa's wedding a year ago.

One of our favorite moments from Pippa's wedding with James Matthews was when Kate was photographed scolding a cheeky Prince George. Will he and Charlotte need reprimanding again at Harry and Meghan's wedding? Probably. They are still just children, after all!

We seriously cannot wait for the wedding.

Of course we're excited to see what Meghan's dress looks like, but come on. We're really dying to see the kiddos. They're going to be so cute!
