Driver in fatal Hong Kong bus crash remanded in custody as prosecution granted eight more weeks to investigate

The driver of a double-decker bus that crashed in Hong Kong on Saturday leaving 19 people dead and 60 injured was remanded in custody on Tuesday. Prosecutors at Fanling Court, who were granted eight more weeks for investigation, revealed that Chan Ho-ming could face more serious charges, pending legal advice. That will include interviewing 37 more passengers and other eyewitnesses – on top of the 28 already interviewed – plus analysis of a black box, examination of car wreckage and...
